1. What mobile devices is Realtime-Spy compatible with?


RTS is has been tested on, and is fully compatible with all Android devices running Android OS 2.0 or later. PC and MAC versions are also available.

2. I tried running the Realtime-Spy application I configured, but nothing happens after I enter my login information.


This is by design - the module will install and run invisibly once you enter your Realtime-Spy username and password.

3. How long does Realtime-Spy take to download and install? 

Unlike other monitoring packages, Realtime-Spy is VERY small in size (less than 600kb) and will take only a few moments to download. The installation process will complete in less than a minute.

4. Will users know Realtime-Spy is installed and monitoring?


No, Realtime-Spy runs invisibly so users will not know that it is running and recording their activities.

5. How do I view my logs?


To view your activity logs for Realtime-Spy simply point your browser to http://www.realtime-spy-mobile.com/members/ . You will be prompted for your username and password - enter these as given to you when you purchased Realtime-Spy.

6. Can others access my Realtime-Spy logs?


Absolutely not! Every user has their own unique username and password that only THEY know. You must specify your username and password to login and view activity logs for your Realtime-Spy software.

7. Can I archive my Realtime-Spy logs?

Yes, you can use the 'download' feature in the Account Management section of your member's area to download all captured photos, or save your logs using your web-browser's 'save page' function.

8. Will Realtime-Spy work with ANY and ALL Internet connections?


Realtime-Spy will work with any internet connection. If a connection is not available Realtime-Spy will upload log data when a connection is re-established. You will be able to always access your logs via your webspace. No need for IP addresses, port numbers, or directly connecting to the remote device!

 My Realtime-Spy webspace does not contain any devices to click on/select?

Ensure that Realtime-Spy has been installed on your Android device. Once the app is running it will appear in your webspace to click on to view logs.

10. How do I change my Realtime-Spy password?


To change your password login to your Realtime-Spy account and click on 'Account Management'. The change password form can then be used to change your password.

11. How do I remove a device from my Realtime-Spy webspace?


To remove a device from your webspace select it in your member's area, then click on the 'Click here to Remove Device' command.

12. Can I Install Realtime-Spy with a Portable Drive/Disk?


Yes, just copy the Realtime-Spy installation file to a portable drive. Afterwards, copy it from the drive to the device you want to install it on - then run the file.

13. Can I remotely install Realtime-Spy onto an Android device?


No, Realtime-Spy Mobile cannot be remotely installed - it must be physically installed onto the Android device you own and want to monitor.

 The software is not accepting my username/password?

Make sure you are entering the username/password EXACTLY as given to you (the password and username are case sensitive). If this still does not work make sure your firewall software is not blocking Realtime-Spy.

15. My Logs do not seem to be updating anymore, how do I fix this?

First you should ensure that the software is still running on the remote device.
If it is not, then re-run the installation file to restart monitoring. Second, verify that you have not changed your password after creating and installing the app on the target device. Changing your password will cause the Realtime-Spy application to be unable to access your account to store logs.

16. How many photo captures can my account hold?

Your Realtime-Spy account can hold up to 500 photo captures at any given time. 500 more photos can be added to your storage limit for $19.95. You can increase your storage capacity as many times as you need.
